Hi all - at the end of my tether here so would appreciate some help.
I have an old PAYG account ending with wanadoo.co.uk - Three weeks ago it timed out under the 219 day rule so I went on the net and reactivated it as per the email notification link.
The problem is that, even though it is reactivated and I can access webmail, I am unable to receive email in Outlook 2003 through pop.orangehome.co.uk and I just keep getting asked for my password again and again, which gets rejected.
I haven't changed any of my original settings that I've been using for years and they are all as per the outlook 2003 Orange setup pages as follows:
As well as this, I have used various servers and settings as suggested here and on other forums (e.g. pop.orange.net, different port settings etc) , spent at least 5 half hour long calls to tech support who didn't have a clue and just took me through the same 5 or so tests each time, as well as putting a request in for engineers to check the account.
All to no avail.
