Ok, my contract run out 3 months ago, but Orange thought it would be ok to take out a new one without permission and raise the price by £5 and then cover it up with a lie "we moved you to home broadband max, we are sorry for the error we have moved you back to home broadband basic. It was a accidental fault." That's not on... ANYWAY back to the point!
I only use my internet for chatting, games and download, what ISP offers constant speed and good ping/customer support?

2 out of those 3 are bandwidth hungry.
Forget BTw products as their IP Profile system will clobber you eventually.
Go with an LLU provider and if Be/o2 (now Sky) are available then that's probably the best along with Sky. Both these do not throttle/cap nor do they have any serious FUP impositions and they provide decent and reliable sync speeds and latency........and their pricing isn't bad either
I can thoroughly recommend o2 (now Sky) broadband.
I use it for gaming and the ping is always so fast together with fast download speed.
Also the customer service is free with ENGLISH SPEAKING, knowledgable staff who genuinely care.
It's never once gone down in about 18 months since I got it.
My exchange is rubbish, not ONE LLU service is available, it only got ADSL max in 06. But I get download speeds of 5.5 to 6.5 meg, If I go to o2 (now Sky) (which I'm considering) will the speed drop or remain the same, will the ping improve? It's currently at a stable 59. Is PlusNet good, would they keep my speed the same, would they cut me off at peak times? etc...
If it has to be IPStream then consider FAST, ZEN, AAISP and IDNet, none are cheap but if you have problems then they rate highly......what they call CUSTOMER SERVICE (I shouted that just for Orange)
In that case, no don't take <a href="http://buy-broadband.at/theside?CTY=1&CID=7793" target="o2 (now Sky)">o2 (now Sky)</a>'s Access package. They are still buying more capacity from BTw and the service is well posted in the <a href="http://buy-broadband.at/theside?CTY=1&CID=7793" target="o2 (now Sky)">o2 (now Sky)</a> forum

They are a bit expensive for me, would PlusNet be good?
