Yes, it's almost certainly dead. You'll need a replacement. My parents had the same thing a few weeks back, and unfortunately had to go through the call centre thing. Several times...
So anyway, there was a lightning strike round here a few weeks ago and the following day my livebox appeared not to function correctly.
The only light on is the wireless/wifi light at the end. I cannot get the box to reset using the method shown on the Orange site.
I'm guessing its the livebox, my line appears to be working fine using an older modem/router.
Is there any hope, or will i need a replacement livebox?
If so, whats the best way about getting one sent out, i dont much fancy sat talking to a call centre for half an hour if its not necessary

hi could you let me know how you get on with the call centre. i had the same problem after a lightning strike. my broadband works fine but my phone doesn't ring properly. it's ok when plugged directly into wall socket but only beeps when connected to livebox, thanks, mark
