I am Orange max and should be getting upto 8mg and its no where near that. I have done a speed test on BT and here are the results.

Your DSL connection rate: 2112 kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 448 kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP profile for your line is - 1750 kbps
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 1404 kbps
is there anyway of getting this better as neighbour who uses the same exchange is getting at lot quicker internet
I've never used one but it depends which Livebox you have.
Look for "Access to the configuration pages."
or "System Information" or "Statistics Menu" or "System Informatoin" and sign on with username admin and password admin

Broadband has been slow here today, but I have just done a test and the results are as follows, which has quite pleased me.

I have never got as much as that before. Been with Wanadoo/Orange for about 8 years now. Really had very few problems, although I don't like their Help line.
