hey guys ive been with Orange for a while now
and for some unknown reason i couldnt connect for a few days
now ive connected
i cant get past the 1.8mbps speed
and Orange seem to be no help whatsoever
i checked the live box
and it reports the following information
but i cant get no where near the top speed it says
i cant even get 3mb
but if i do a check with other broadband providers
they say i can get 7mbps
but as i said i cant get them speeds
any help would be greatfull thanks
as ive checked everything i can think of
ive even had BT do a line test
and also had the phone socket and internal wireing replaced by BT to try and solve this speed issue

ok a reply to all i have left Orange now
as they didnt solve the problem
and charged me almost £200 to get out of the contract
witch was discusting in my case
but anyway im going with 02
as they are givin me the full 8mb
and im happy with that
plus the modem is free
unlike the Orange livebox
that u have to pay for every month
Glad to hear you have escpaped the robbing Orange but obviously not that you had to pay £200.
I have been with o2 (now Sky) for around 18 months now and they are faultless.
Always a fast, stable connection, ENGLISH SPEAKING customer support who actually care and cheap as well especially if you have a mobile with them too.
At least your headaches will be gone and you can look forward to a connection now, not excuses and lies.

that is the worst part
but i reckon they are conning me out of £200 as i only had 6 months contract left
but then again thats Orange for u
im happy with o2 (now Sky) im paying just over 8 pound a month
and very happy with the service
