Today I am having lots of disconnections throughout the day and I mean, lots. Internet connection will only last for about 5 mins and in order to reconnect I have to try about 10-15 times clicking time after time until finally gets connected.... for about another 5 mins.
Is anyone else experiencing this? London area here.

Thanks for your reply Elhana.
Error 633 not appearing any longer. However, a new error 680 turned up instead.
After this new error ovurred, called Orange Cust. Services and the lady on the phone gave me a patch (3.1) for my Alcatel Speedtouch USB Stinger.
Thanks to the patch, the speed has now improved a little but the 680 error still happening, not as much as during the w/end but at least a couple of times a day.
Do you think uninstall/reinstall is still the best option?

Hmm possibly. Does the ADSL light on the modem flash at all when you get the error? If not then reinstalling may help.
You've read my mind Elhana!!
Lights were off when i got the error and I had to power off/on my pc in order to have the Speedtouch working. In the end, last night I did uninstall and performed a clean install of the old modem drivers which so far has worked like a charm. No more disconnections have occurred since then.
I have a steady speed now and performed a Speed Test on BT's website. The speed is still well under the 8Mb (an average of 1.5Mb) but at least it does not get disconnected.
I can now confirm that the disconnection problem has now been resolved thanks to performing a clean install of the modem drivers.
About the Speed....John M here at the forum has given me the source and a solution to the low speed I've been experiencing which is due to my old green Speedtouch USB modem. It is on a different post which was started by another OrangeProblems user who had similar problems to mine.
I will shortly cross reference that post to this one (and v.v.) to keep track of any developments that may arise.
Thanks a million Elhana!!

and I just want to sound a note of caution. My post was really intended to explain why the High Speed Driver doesn't use Iso Mode on the old green modem. A new modem may or may not resolve your download speed issues.
