I have an Orange Livebox, and have it hooked up to a Buffalo WHR-HP-G54 router to handle wireless connectivity.
I have no problems at all, however I tried to log into a secure site today and receive "address not found". This is happening on all Three PC's in the house, Windows 7, XP, and Ubuntu.
I went to a neighbour and he connected first time without any problems.

The site in question is:
http //www chaseselectloans com/
And the error occurs whenever I click on:
"Retrieve a saved application"
Any ideas what is causing the problem?
Bieng suspicious by nature, your use of another device for wireless (live box has it, if you managed to connect at a neighbours , job done ?
You say secure site yet httpS iis the correct prefix.
Then drop in a link, maybe to get others to try, NAH not me a quick search reveals someone generating revenue by click throughs
http://www.wipo.int/amc/en/dom...7-1514.doc
and why would anyone in the uk obtain a loan in the US?
I may be wrong but this looks like a SCAM, i am however happy to be proved wrong.
I'm from the UK, but I live overseas. The liveboxes here do not have the wireless feature installed - to have that luxury you have to pay more for your subscription. The workaround is to use a seperate box, like I am doing. I'm an English speaker, hence my post here.
Every other site is perfect, except for the site mentioned.
My girlfriend is from the US, and is doing a distance program - therefore she needs to access the website to view her information.... paranoia over?
My question still stands. I'm not sure why it is just this site that is causing an issue - but if anybody has any ideas then that would be great!

In that case, (glad to hear it's not a scam ) if its only youur machine that falls over on the page in question have you tried using an alternative browser (firefox or chrome) does it have a https prefix when trying to load (secure)
Also carry out a FULL virus and spyware scan, trendmicro have an online verision for virus and spybot or adaware are good for the spyware (both free)
then try againafter if you have to access it but from the link i posted you'll see why i'd be wary of using that particular website, Chase in the US are a bit upset with them
