Back iat the end of Feb I signed up to Oranges free broadband package.
I was told back then that the service was not available to me for some reason and it would actually cost me £8. I agreed to this as long as I was charged nothing else but £8 for the service.
6 weeks later I seen my first bill for £36, I phoned Orange on 27 April and was told this included the calls they had taken over from BT.
News to me as I never agreed to the calls being taken over and I am naturally unhappy.
I was told to by customer service rep "Natalie" to wait for my BT bill to arrive and check I was not being charged twice and call back.
My bill arrived today 10 June, im paying BT for unlimited calls and then paying Orange for my lanline calls!!!.. something no normal person would ever do!!
I called and wanted to be taken off this contract but Orange have said to do this it will increase my broadband charge to £17 a month. Someting again I do not want.
The guy at Orange customer service advised that I contact BT and ask them to take back over my phone calls from Orange and that would leave me with my £8 a month bill.
Has anyone done this?
Will Orange them attempt to take the calls back or will there be any other problem this will cause???
I originally wanted to cancel everything with them but have been told I have been told if I want to do this I have to pay £109 for ending the contract early. Something I dont see how because I never asked for this contract.............
