This morning I found I could not collect my emails via Outlook Express 6, nor via Internet Explorer 7/ webmail. Only affecting my orangehome identity.
OE6 prompted for password - a bad sign! - but wouldn't accept re-entered detail.
When logingin on webmail via IE7 browser just get this message:- 'We apologise but this account is currently unavailable'
Clicking 'More Info' just gave:
'Not Found - The requested URL /sessionBegin.do was not found on this server.
IBM_HTTP_Server/6.0.2.29 Apache/2.0.47 (Unix) Server at help.orange.co.uk Port 80'
I also have an fsnet webmail email address which is working perfectly, via OE6 or IE7.
I reported problem to Orange via their website form, this morning. Apart from autoresponse acknowledgement, nothing heard, problem remains.
How long has it been since you logged in to your orangehome account via webmail? Accounts are suspended after 219 days of inactivity, i.e. not connecting to the internet (e.g. no longer a customer) or not logging in via webmail.
If this is the case you will have to log in to the members centre and retrieve your account.
Fsmail.net accounts are a little different as they are free accounts available to anyone in the UK.
