Right the situation is I have had the Livebox for a year or so now and it was working perfectly. However I got a virus on my computer and was advised to totally wipe the hard drive and start afresh, which I did. I now have the system back up and workin but it wont let me connect the Livebox. Whenever I set it up plugging the ethernet cable in and phone line and power lead the @ light will flash every second or so and the antenna light is solid. I have tried resetting the livebox, which had no effect. I am able to get on the internet with an old dial up modem so I know that the internet connection is good so must be the Livebox connection to the PC. Any help will be much appreciated.
What do you mean by no connection? To the internet or livebox?
How are you trying to connect to the livebox, by ethernet cable or wireless?
Can you open site 192.168.1.1 in your web browser?
Have you carried out any installation/configuration methods for the livebox. You need to set your Orange username + password on the livebox for it to access the internet.
I am using an ethernet connection and I used a re-installed XP to connect to but when i connect it, the @ light flashes sloly and 'wireless' light is solid. And I can't access '192.168.1.1'. It says it cannot open it. Any help.

my livebox used to work fine until now
but then it has some weird problems
what happens is that the internet go's off at some time of the day for a few hours, and when its coming, if i ring someone it go's off
some weird problem and its really annoying when im playing online on my ps3 and a call comes
