I`ve been with Orange since the days of Freeserve dialup & Wanadoo Broadband & I didn`t have any connection problems until I switched to the home select package & swapping my Speedtouch modem for a Livebox was the biggest mistake ever made. And you guessed it, my connection died yet again on friday night & just by coincidence it was right after a electrical storm & when I say died, the @ light was flashing rapidly.
Of course Orange technical support blamed it on a damaged phone line, even though I was speaking to them on a landline phone & they said that a line test would be performed within 48 hours, yeah right. And upto this morning I still had no internet connection & still no phone call from Orange. So I thought i`d try my old Wanadoo Speedtouch modem just to see if it was the Livebox at fault & as you can probably tell, it seems like it is the livebox at fault.
Thats my moan & groan about Orange & a dead connection isn`t always down to a bad phone line.
