Hello,

my internet phone suddenly decided to stop working. I've tried different devices with no luck.

However, if I restart the router it works for a couple of minutes until the router is fully restarted and then the phone stops working again.

I thought if I disabled the internet connection on the router it might work, but again no luck.

Any ideas?

Have you tried disabling the firewall capabilities of the new router? Some of the stuff like SPI may be affecting the VoIP.

If problem continues, check it's configuration and see what ports were forwarded, and what other firewall capabilities might have been disabled.

orange have got big problems with this.
they don't seem to be able to fix the issue at the moment.
I have been waiting a month to get my second line fixed.
just keep getting fobbed off.
have now terminated and am about to go to 02
