Firstly, I'd like to apologise if I've put this in the wrong place...
Okay. My friend has a USB Speedtouch 330 modem, and the Orange installation CD she has installs the modem along with all the Orange-related stuff. Upon installation the two lights on the modem light up green and an icon appears in the system tray to indicate whether or not the internet is working, it's green (meaning that 'everything is fine'). But still the internet doesn't work.
When she runs her mouse of the icon it says 'Sending and Receiving 0 M', which is probably why it's not working, but everything says that it should...If she right clicks the icon and 'Runs Diagnostics' there's a red dot next to the information there, but we're not sure what it means.
We've tried plugging the modem into all the available USB ports on the computer, and the modem works fine on her sister's laptop.
I'm (as I'm her technical support ^^") not sure what the problem could be, and my dad (my technical support) doesn't know either. We've tried changing USB ports, uninstalling and reinstalling, and my friend assures me that the username and password she uses are correct.
Oh! If I remember rightly, I get an error message saying something along the lines of 'Problem connecting with remote device'...
