Hi all,
For the last 4 years i've had no problems at all with my livebox... until the last month. My connection just drops out - sometimes it comes back, other times it can be off for days. Occasionally pulling out all the leads and putting them back again works and i get connected again (for sometimes as much as 20 mins) and other times not.
Spent almost an hour last night waiting for a technical support operator to pick up only to be told to keep trying to log in.
'no, it still says Link Down'
'go back to the log in page and re enter your username and password and press enter'
he didnt seem interested that it had connected (briefly) before i felt the need to phone up.
the upshot of which is a line test whenever that might be, really disappointed that the onus is on me to do the chasing and how its down to me to do the following up.
poor customer service
Sorry to read of your problems. I work for Orange and may be able to help.
If you can email your landline number/broadband account number and best contact number to customer.services@orange.co.uk, I'll give you a ring to discuss.
So I can pick up your mail quickly, please add 'Jonathan Orange Response' in the first line.
The same problem for me ! My Livebox began playing up about 3 weeks ago - sometimes on sometimes off - My Wii can no longer connect to it and I've now been "down" for 10 days with no connection at all . ( Recently connection would last about 20 minutes then drop - but NOTHING for the last 10 days ) .
I got the Livebox following the problems with my previous LAN/Cable connection wherby I racked up a £60 phonebill trying to get this sorted .
I'm loathed to be put on hold whilst calling India when the Livebox is clearly at fault ??? HEEEELLLLLLLPPPP please
