I had posted another thread about my troubles on this forum and had thought it was all going to be sorted as I managed to get through to an understanding person from a UK call centre about what I was experiencing. But he is now saying that the max my line can take is 1Mb and no more and that I can't leave Orange as there is no technical fault eventhough my line should be able to get at least 3.5Mb which I would be more than happy with.
During one of my line tests my router was reading that my max download rate was around 2.5Mb but my line had been capped at 0.5Mb at the time then after the line test it went down to 0.5Mb again so my thinking is that it must be able to handle 2.5Mb which I would also be very happy with.
Could I ring Orange and say that if I do not get better speeds within 30 days I'm leaving my contract for free or is the fact that there is no technical issue bar the slow speeds gonna stop me from doing that?
