My whole house is wireless apart from me. I have a Ethernet cable running from downstairs to my room and i have been finding in the last 6 mouths that i get dissconected once or twice a day.
The only way to fix the problem is to unplug the router and plug it back in.
BUT when i get disconnected no one in the house does and switching it off and on again has become a real pain. I have used other computers connected to the Ethernet port and it is not my computer i also replaced the cable with a brand new one
The Internet is running fine and i have nothing really to complain about there just theses disconnections are a a pain
Anyone had this problem? where you able to find a solution or find out what the problem was?
I turned off uPnP in the Livebox configuration pages (Configuration > Advanced > uPnP) and now there is a continuous connection when connected via the LAN.
