Orange has announced it is hoping to boost its customer services and sales divisions with the launch of a new educational facility.
The company, which provides a wide range of mobile phone and broadband solutions, has revealed details of its Sales Academy, which it claims is an "ambitious" initiative to get the most out of its staff.
In addition to how Orange is able to develop and train new talent within its various departments, it is hoped the move will allow the network to enhance levels of customer satisfaction.
The Orange Sales Academy will be led by company vice-president Jean-Pascal Van Overbeke and builds on the bid previously made by its chief executive Tom Alexander to become "the best-loved communications brand in the UK".
Commenting on the announcement of the academy's launch, Mr Van Overbeke said the idea behind the move was to create a sales team that were motivated to provide the best service possible to potential customers, as well as invest in the talent that would strengthen its future.
"Orange Sales Academy reflects our desire to attract and develop the best salespeople. The Academy will be the place where great sales people are made - and with the tools and guidance from Orange become sales legends," he added.
The plans follow the launch of the Orange Retail Centre of Excellence programme last year which sought to enhance the skills of the firm's in-store advisors, as well as encourage those looking to move into a management role.
Last month, Orange revealed Emilio Estevez would be the latest celebrity to feature in its line of star-studded cinema advertisements.
