i'm using the livebox with my macbook on leopard.
received it today, got it set up using the ethernet connection fine. However, i have no light next to the wireless symbol on the livebox. When i click the pairing button on the back, nothing. If i hold it down, nothing at all.
Is my livebox DOA? In the startup guide which makes it sound like a piece of cake, it says when you turn it on you WILL get a green light next to the @ and the wireless symbol. I had to configure my password via ethernet to get the flashing @ light to stop, now i get no wireless light.
under security, the only option i get is to change my firewall. Nothing about disabling/enabling wireless.
There is a wi fi settings tab, when i log onto 192.168.1.1, it looks like this
Everytime i try something like changing security, entering the security key etc, it just resets back to this screen. No confirmation of anythings happened at all
yeh, thanks, i know that. I've tried ticking it, but like i said in my previous post, everytime i try and check it, or change any details, nothing happens. It just refreshes the page.
its an absolute nightmare! something so simple is basically impossible so it seems and i'm loosing my tether with it!
