After 2 years of severe grief with Orange Broadband / Talk package , eg. Broadband cut off every 2 weeks. No phone at all for 10 months, Service cut off due to my failure to pay the monthly bill, despite the fact I paid it dilligently only to discover that the payments went into an Orange mobile account , despite the fact that I did not and never had an Orange mobile.
To fix this issue, they sent me a cheque for all the money I paid, in order to pay them back into the Broadband / Talk account.
Anyhoo, I decided to close my account before the contract run out and move to a service provider who appeared to be at the least vaguely competent.
Orange customer support informed me that as I closed the account before the contract run out, I owed them £180.00
However, I never received a final bill, but I did recieve a payment FROM them of, lo and behold £180.00
This just goes to show the general level of gross incompetence of this company.
