Since I changed from WindowsXP to Windows 7, my broadband connection through my Home Max libebox drops out at random intervals. Is there a software update to rectify this problem?

If you still experience problems with your connection after turning off uPnP on your Livebox, please email your landline/account number and preferred contact number to customer.services@orange.co.uk, and I'll give you a call to discuss.
