Hi everyone im sorry to say that yes i do have orangebroad and its absolutly crap constantly having problems with the bloody thing. The main problem (if there is one) that concerns me is the download speed.
According to Orange my line or rather my parenst line can take upto 2.5MB which is ok i guess and this i was told by Orange was what i was getting. There are 3 pcs connected up, one is wired and the other two are wirless all upstarirs in the house. The problem is on all these pcs the download speed never goes more than 380kbs and this is on a good day, today was the first time i have seen it download so high.
So my question is for my connection and a wirless comp is this the download speed i should be getting or should it be more?

If you're using a livebox, goto http://192.168.1.1 and login with usename admin and password admin. Go to System Information and post what you have in Noise margin (dB) : and Attenuation (dB) :
It's rare to get a good, fast connection with Orange, some people are lucky enough to.
If you do get a connection at all it is often slower than 56K modems.
Thousands upon thousands of people have posted on here over the years stating the same thing; inluding myself.
Best bet is to move to a real ISP that can provide.
