I have a Netgear WG111 wireless adapter connected to my laptop. My laptop shows Netgear WG111 is connected to Livebox and signal status is ]connected and strength very good or excellent. However I cannot connect to the Internet. If I remove WEP security on the livebox and the adapter my laptop will connect no problem. I have checked that I am entering all info correctly into the security on the livebox and also into the Netgear connection wizard. I obviously would prefer to have the security set to on. I am so frustrated with this, can anyone help please?
Thankyou for replying, yes I am using button 1 to put the livebox in pairing mode. I can connect if I do not use the WEP key both on the livebox and the adapter.
