NTL i have to say has a good service (i would not say very good) and my internet has gone off Once in 2 years due to a blownbox at the end of my road
I have the 2MB service which gives me 240kb down and 24KB up but this is normal

One of has the NTL 10MB but he says the speed is great 1202 Down (i know its fast) 50KB up but the modem is not very good until the firmware has been updated

But all in all NTL is GREAT
