Had a new Orange mobile and took the reduced rate Home Select broadband offer.
Nearly cancelled when the 8Mbps ran at only 2.5Mbs - do I want the grief and spend the time to get it sorted - I'd read a lot in OrangeProblems.co.uk!
BUT, I found the problem was at my end with my Win2000 server. This was after I swore blind to Orange Customer care ( UK ) and Tech Support ( India ) it was an Orange issue!
It now chugs along nicely at 6.5 down and 0.5 up onto an Linux desktop PC - exactly what Orange promised. I'm sure it's not a Win2000 issue, just a fault in my Win2000 server.
