I don't know where to begin really , it all started with loosing the answerphone on the livebox, then the second line went , went through the mill the same as everyone else, orange blaming my phones etc, sent me a phone adapter telling me it could be that , same old garbage about doing this that and the other before they could escalate it
Anyway, I'd had enough and switched to TalkTalk who had a better package, got the MAC code etc, in the meantime before I'd given TalkTalk the code I was offered the same deal by Orange, who also promised the livebox issue would be sorted that day and like a fool I fell for it. Two days later I still had no second line and a load of connection problems, so I thought sod this and submitted the MAC code to TalkTalk.
What Orange did then was to request the line back off TalkTalk without my permission for which I am being charge £70 cessation fee by TalkTalk and when I phoned up Orange to find out just what they were playing at they told me I'd broken the T&C of my "contract" and they were charging me the full amount for the 18 months, £556 something pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've just come off the phone to TalkTalk who are claiming the line back off Orange within the next 24hrs and they suggested I claim the £70 fee back off Orange
I have come to the conclusion that they are all one as bad as the other. One sneaky thing that Orange did was to put a block on 150, the number you can dial to find out who your service provider is. When I ring that number I am told that I am not allowed to access the number from my line
