I am an Orange customer and use a tiscali or a freeserve address. Apart from the problems below I am pleased with my Orange Broadband service
After the LLU problems, I was advised by Orange to use 193.252.22.139 for Outgoing Mail on the Tiscali address. I continue to use smtp.wanadoo.co.uk for the freeserve address
1 No e-mails are delivered to AOL addressees from either of my own addresses
2 My e-mails are delivered to Waitrose from my freeserve but not my tiscali address
3 For the past six months any undelivered e-mails disappear into the either and are never returned by Demon. A test e-mail addressed to a random set of digits and letters @tiscali.co.uk was sent but not returned
Have other Posters experienced these problems? I have already contacted Orange and failed to obtain a plausible explanation
