I am trying to connect a new laptop wirelessly to the livebox.
I have paired livebox and laptop and input the WEP key on the bottom of the livebox.
However,I can only connect when I use WEP security under the livebox configuration.I want to connect using WPA as I believe this is more secure.
If I change settings to "WPA or WEP security" or "WPA security only"on the liveboxl then it won't let me connect my laptop to the livebox. The message I get on my laptop is "settings saved on computer for network do not match requirements of the network."

Your laptop is still trying to use your old WEP settings, easiest thing to do would probably to delete the network settings from your laptop and let it establish the new WPA settings and save these. See this post: http://www.orangeproblems.co.u...php?t=5760
Unless you need to connect WEP devices to your network it would be best to set it to WPA only, as allowing both can confuse some PC's etc.
