I'm on Orange home max and I'm reasonably happy except that since day one I think my broadband has been capped at 2 meg. According to my livebox I should be getting 6 meg ish.

ADSL firmware version : A2pBT009c1.d17d
Connection mode : G.DMT
Type : Fast
Noise margin (dB) : 5.9
Attenuation (dB) : 44.0
Attainable download rate (kbps) : 6752
ADSL status : Connected [0]

Downstream Upstream
Rate (kbps) 6720 448 .

But when I run BT speedtest it says my ip profile is set to 2000kbps and my actual speed is around 1900kbps

Does this happen a lot? is it easily fixed?

Sorry if I come across as a bit of a thicko but I've always had a cable connection before now, much less complicated than ADSL!

Any help would be greatly appreciated
