Does anyone know if Orange will be planning to upgrade their services to 24Mb any time soon and if they are planning on it will those on the premium service be migrated to it or will we have to take out new contracts?

I thought there were reports of customers being migrated to ADSL2+ on these forums (you might want to search). I thought that was an "up to 24MB service"

Did a search and found some interesting info... most from 2007 speaking about LLU migration and possible migration to adsl2+ but nothing recent comes up.
Find it worrying that almost a year on from what I've just been reading that I can't find any more info or proposals for the rollout of this service.
I work BT broadband tech help and I think I'm going to do some digging to find out whats actually installed in my local exchange at Gateshead as I know BE have been setup in there for a little while now.
I am one of the lucky few though that have been with Orange for 2 years now and always had near constant 8Mb connection and virtually no downtime so I would like to think it would be nice to stay with them and show a little faith in them but I simply won't wait for ever for the sake of saving £10 a month.
There is absolutely no chance that Orange or France Telecom will ever provide an acceptable broadband service.
The current service is so riddled with technical problems they need to close the whole system down and start again and I can't see an international company doing that.
