Has anyone has a similar problem (and found a solution for a problem) like this?
I'm a big fan of LambdaMoo; accessing either via Telnet or a MUDclient at
"lambda.moo.mud.org 8888"
I now cannot access this using my Orange Broadband service. At first I thought the server was down, but then could access without difficulty using my Vodafone 3G modem.
The DNS is correctly resolving the IP address (69.17.114.80 8888) but the connection times out. If I switch to my 3G service from Vodafone, I connect in a few seconds. No other sites I visit seem to be affected.
My guess is that this might be some sort of siteblocking, but bizarrely the webpage at this address (http://lambda.moo.mud.org) does come up.
