I realise that there are probably other similar topics around this could have sat with but i wanted a fresh one.
I have just purchased a new Asus 901 notebook and am struggling to get an internet conection.
We have a central PC in the house and another PC connected via Ethernet cable off it.
I am able to see all the wireless networks in the area including one unsecured but i cannot connect to the network.
The problem occurs when it asks for a WPA Key, the only thing i was able to find was a WEP key on the Wanadoo livebox (3 years old). I have tried to input this code in various formats but still no success.
Any advice would be appreciated, i am even contemplating making an unsecure connection so any advice on this would be appreciated as well.
I live in a very secluded area and everyone knows everybodys business so don't have too many fears about this as i know it can be risky.
