Since last Sunday night I've unable to get my email. Trying to log on to the pop3 server via telnet gives me an error
[SYS/PERM] Unable to open maildrop
And if I try webmail I get redirected to an error page as soon as I logon. Emails sent to the account are getting bounced as well
I've been back and forth with Orange support both using both phone and email and am getting little joy and each time I seem to get a different person telling me to reset my browser
Does anyone have any idea what is going on or any tips for getting out of the endless cycle of pain in the support world and getting my issue escalated to someone with half a clue.
Eventually this has been escalated and I'm getting mails through again, I am still missing a few weeks worth which seem to be taking up space in my webmail but invisible. Orange claim to be investigating this but I don't hold out much hope.
Anyway the only way to get through the initial "support" layer seems to be persistence and making sure that you do(or claim to) everything they ask you to do however stupid, eventually they escalate but this seems to be slow....
