Hi All, Ive been closely following the recent thread on email problem at Orange ie emails not getting through.
My problem is slightly different so not sure if its connected.
Basically over the last few days I have been unable to access my email via my email client ( Ive tried outlook express on my XP machine and mail on my macbook ) Ive also tried Telneting directly in but get same error that the Mailbox is IN Use and Unable to Lock Maildrop.
I can send fine but thats obviously the SMTP server not POP - I can also see all my emails via the Webmail ( but am currently unable to delete any from there )
Just wondered if anyone out there is / had the same issue ?? Ive sent Orange 2 emails - no reply and even tonight bit the bullet and rang there tech support tonight which just wanted to blame it on my client and wanted to pass me to there apple support - I tried to explain that it wasnt my client as I had tried telneting on both my MAC and XP machine ( at this point they hung up )
