I cannot connect to my livebox with my Archos 605. I have done all the usual like pairing and putting in the wep security key on my Archos. Although it finds the wireless network it will not let me connect. I have even been in the System Information on the livebox page and put in all the numbers manually which the Archos accepts but still Cannot Connect comes up.
I can connect using an open network from a neighbour so it's not the Archos, don't think.
This person had a similar problem..they changed the security settings to WAP only and used channel 8 instead of1 {usually default) and this seemed to do the trick.

Pedds 1, I had found this on Archosfans and it worked. As well as using the pairing button 1 you also have to press the 2 button for it to accept the MAC address on the Archos.
