Hi been following these boards for ages.. I've been with Orange 18 mnths .. 12 with contract then they offered me 6mnths free for the full year so i agreed .. My speed is excruicatingly slow atm..
Which looks like it should be OK however on BT speed test and adsl nation im getting 1.1Mbps as a download - (upload is as high as it can be). No matter how many times I try, sometimes it fluctuates down to 0.9Mbps but I can't do anything with it.. I need my broadband as I follow a lot of US sports on espn360 but it is unwatchable atm hindering me as I pay a monthly fee.. also my xbox live cuts me off intermittently which cooincides with teh slow speeds..
I removed the ring wire from my sockets last night and the new speeds are what I posted - its synching high but not actually showing this in my download speed.. before removing the ring wire this download rate was about 2500 .. but speeds were still 1Mbps on test sites and internet next to unisable this happened middle of last week.
Your router stats don't look that bad for an attenuation of 52dB.
You need to post the result from www.speedtester.BT.com, I'm guessing that a recent glitch on your line has affected your IP profile.
You should find that once the Max system has recovered from the glitch the profile will return to normal and your connection speed will go back to 3Mb....this may take a few days if no further glitches occur.

Yes, that's why you're not getting a 3Mb connection speed.
Some time very recently, there's been a re-sync and your profile has been downgraded. Wait for 3 or 4 days and you should see it go back up provided there aren't any more router re-syncs.
