i have a couple of contacts who use AOL. Suddenly, all my emails to one of them (via O/look express) are simply disappearing into the void. The other one received emails some 2 or 3 days after sending. I have managed to use webmail to bypass this problem, but this morning rec'd a message when attempting to send webmail that it had been blocked. This only appears to occur with AOL recipients. Anyone any ideas please? Not too technical please, it's only me struggling here!!! many thanks, stevieC

It sounds to me as if AOL have blocked the emails from Orange, this used to occur on a regular basis 3 or 4 years ago. AOL unilaterally blocks without any notice whole ip address blocks that they may or may not have associated with spamming in the past.
Here are a few AOL links regarding email problems.
It looks to me as if AOL may have block a full range of Orange addresses due to spamming. And yes, I agree that Orange's spammng filters could be a lot better. They have improved the email functions recently, such as cutting down on the number of bulk emails that can be sent at any one time. However lots of people don't set up spam filters or rules correctly, which doesn't help themself or other users. I'm not saying you are at fault with this, but just offering a few suggestions as to why AOL may once again be blocking emails from Orange and other isp's.
