Since 12 October My internet trough Orange Broadband fantastic offer (haha).... is a pain........... I raised a call to Orange Tech support and the same scenario occurs again and again and again:
- No errors detected on the line.
- run a test on the BT speed tester (which doesn’t work with Firefox 3) at 3 different moment of the day.
- have you read our advice about slow speed issue ?
- etc....
I've tested a file download with my computer from my neighbor’s wireless network (other provider, 8 Mb too) the throughput was between 220 and 230 KB/S and he was downloading some other stuff in the same time. I test the same download from my network and my download was between 80 (low peak) and 190 KB/S (high peak)..... I explain that to Orange Tech support and they still ask me for this f****** speed test.... are they just stupid ???? It's now the 5th time I call them, never get the same agent, always explain EXACTLY the same things and always get the same result : NOTHING even after spoke to a 'manager'
Next time, I will * a cow....
They are all kind but that's all.... really all....Even my grandmother is more technical than those people.....
I'm really pi**ed off...
My questions are :
- I'm living in Northampton south area, which exchange I’m connected to ?
- There is a way can I cancel my Orange broadband as I'm still under contract for 9 month ?
- There is a consumer justice action possible against this provider as it the crapiest support provider I never seen in my life ?
