OK, so one end of the ethernet cable plugs into the console, right? What does the other end plug into - the router itself, or a computer that is part of the network?
My PS3 is in my bedroom, as is my computer. Downstairs is the family computer, which is connected to the router - my computer has wireless internet transmitted from the router. Since it would be impractical to run a cable all the way from my room down to the family computer, would it be possible to plug an ethernet cable into my computer, and have the PS3 'leech' wireless internet access from it, so to speak?
