My son plays "Second Life" on his PC connected via ethernet cable to the Livebox. Most of the time it works fine, but then the whole thing becomes sluggish and his diagnostic screen says there is high "packet loss" and the bandwidth indicator hovers about zero, and if it hits zero he loses internet connection. The same thing happens if he uses my new laptop.
Can anyone help, PLEASE?!!
We use an Orange Livebox but have also got an Orange Siemens router.Oranges helpline said that the Livebox was better if we are using more than one PC. Are they correct?
