I have a very very frustrating problem out of many with this broadband connection that I got from Orange. Its 13 months old contract with up to 8mbps (which is in fact like up to 2mbps; the only reason I am still keeping it is because it gives me a second line which lets me around 1000 minute of free call to my country). So lets get to the problem.
I got a laptop and turned on the the Orange Wireless connection and got it work in some time. But I get disconnected constantly. There are two ways in which I get disconnected. One is that the wireless light that blips like once a second just stops blipping. The other is it just disconnects while the light is still blipping. My solution is to open router configuration and change the current password and change it back in the laptop and then it works fine. I currently use WPA Personal (TKIP). It happens with all the laptops and there is no definite pattern so as to assume its a time out and I have disabled that in the configuration.
If you guys can shed some light in it, I would be so grateful.
