Is anyone else haveing problems including attachments with e-mails using Orange? I'm trying to help out some "mature" friends who think they're doing something wrong..... They've been using Wanadoo for years with no problems whatsoever to keep in touch with their children and grand kids in New Zealand and to run a small car hire firm.

So far since the rebrand:

(1) Outlook express won't send or receive e-mails with or without attachments
(2) Orange web-mail will send and will sometimes receive, but only mails without attachments.

I spoke to the "Helpdesk" for them yesterday, who suggested there's a problem with Outlook Express and I should reinstall it.....

Anyone got any tips?

Very unlikely that you need to reinstall Outlook Express -

first check your settings, especially smtp

It may help if you have not already changed it to change it to:

smtp.orange.co.uk

I still use smtp.wanadoo.co.uk and it works fine, but others have had to change to teh Orange address above.

I think you can also use:

smtp.orangehome.co.uk (but I am not sure) - a quick search on here for "smtp." may assist you!

I would certainly hold off reinstalling OE... until all other avenues have been exhausted
