ok sounds easy to solve but this is what seems to be happening. I am using an imac core duo and an ipod touch with a livebox (wedge shaped version INVENTEL version : v5.0. set the live box up, WEP security... push the pairing button 1 (flashing lights) etc all good so far. I look in the Associated Devices tab... (http://192.168.1.1) nothing registering. Can't see the ipod or the MAC even though I now have an internet connection. Eventually the flashing lights stop (10 mins) and I still have an internet connection but naturally soon as i turn ipod off for example then back on the connecton can't be made. Doesn't ask for the WEP just connection can't be established i imagine because it's not a paired device. What i find a little odd is on my ipod it never shows the network as one that is secure so appears to have no security (no little padlock). I have been trying for hours to get this to pair don't really understand what I'm doing wrong hopefully someone can give me some advice before i go nuts....
