We are on a 12 months through a 18 month contract.
Our 8mb broadband service at £19.99 has been running at around 400kb for about 3 months. Over a month ago we have alerted Orange to this and had a number phonecalls with them and they promised to call back a couple of times and haven't so we've phoned them. But this time we haven't called them back and its been a month since we've had contact with their technical team. This is not our first problem but Orange seem incapable of fixing this one.
So despite being promised around 4.5mb we have been getting something more like a dial up connection. Does this mean that we can now send a letter explaining this, state we are cancelling, get a MAC code and cancel the direct debit?
