Just sorted my Mother out with a laptop and BB, went with the basic home starter 2mb, became active today so i talked her through the setup cd.
The setup cd ran through, got to the user name and password entry, failed twice now will not run again. No problem will just manually set up the router.

Doesnt work Just acts as if it wasn't connected.
It is a Gigaset SE572
Tried to connect wirelessly and it sees the router but errors before you can put the encryption password in.
Im a perfectly tech savvy bloke and no doubt if i had i access to the set up i could sort it but my mother lives 300 miles away and that’s a trip i do not want!

Better not using the set up CD....connect ethernet and http://192.168.1.1
Also don't forget it's the broadband username that you use.
