I've been using the Orange Icom dongle for a couple of weeks with no problems so far. I doubt I'll get near the 3gb cap as its only used for e-mail and the odd word .doc. I assumed I could monitor usage by adding an account to my long standing phone account. I did this but it only shows the odd text sent via the dongle.
Obviously no reply to an e-mail query to Orange so any clues as regards monitoring usage.
My suggestion is to get something like Bandwidth Monitor Pro which will show you your usage. This is less than ideal if you use multiple laptops though.
Orange dont seem to want to tell people what their usage is - I guess they rely on people going over it so they make more money.
