Over the last few days I've repeatedly had a missed call from the same number on my (non-Orange) mobile phone. I picked it up today to find Orange trying to talk me into a different broadband package.
I've never given them my telephone number other than to call me back regarding a problem and can find no way on their website to tell them to stop cold-calling me (I was in such a hurry to get them off the line - expecting a call - I neglected to ask why they were phoning me on that number). Anybody got any ideas (preferably which don't involve a charge)?
While I'm here, I was interested a while ago in changing broadband package, but as a customer of theirs ever since it was freeserve (i.e. several years), I object to the 18 month lock-in period. It's not on.
