I play online games and most the servers i play on are in New york so i get about 80 ping but for about the last month its shot up to 180 ping

and also London based servers im geting about 60 ping where i used to get about 5 ping

any idea why or any one else having this problem?

Basically the problem is that you are with Orange and will struggle to ever get a decent connection.
I moved from Orange to Idnet and then o2 (now Sky) who have both been faultless, fast, reliabel, supportive and low pings.
