Well not long after migrating our phone line developed a fault - crackling on the line during calls etc. I thought this was related to me being moved to a faulty port in the exchange or something. Yesterday line died all together, so independantly I got BT round. BT fixed the problem (it turned out to be a bad line at the telegraph pole)
Once the line was fixed, my broadband wasn't activate. A quick call to o2 (now Sky) and they re-enabled the port etc and I was away within 5 minutes. I'm just wondering what would have happened had I still been on Orange

Fast forward 1 month and you'd be asking them for a MAC code because you'd have been without broadband for 30 consecutive days with a record of phone calls to CS/TS.
