I'll begin by saying this is not going to be for the light hearted! I would like to begin by saying I'm on the 8mb unlimited offer, and that up until a few weeks ago my connection was perfect, nothing has changed to do with the connection etc within the house, no filters changed, no new items etc, so it has happened for "no reason" per se.
At the moment my livebox will drop my connection for several reasons:
1: always on incoming and outgoing phonecalls. fixes itself after 30seconds-1minute.
2: randomly at any point during the day or night.
3: sometimes while using the VOIP service.
I am mighty certain that there is no problem with my filters or cables, as I have replaced all of these and tried various setups.
I have tried most of my items connected to filters seperately which hasn't changed anything, this was to test if they were creating the fault.
I have been inside the main BT box, and ensured correct cables were inserted only. 2 and 5. Furthermore I tried my filter in the BT test socket behind the cover.
After hearing the same nonsence from the rather shoddy "tech support" (all the stuff they said I already know) and hearing the same story 10 times, they said it could be my line, I phoned BT and they confirmed there was no problems there.
I JUST read now that there is a possible problem called "double filtering" i believe, but I do not believe this could be the problem as I have had NO problems (surprisingly!) with my Orange connection until about 2 weeks ago, when it all broke suddenly one day as mentioned above.
Any sort of advice would be excellent.

(not a huge priority, switching to Sky broadband in no time, but it'd be cool!)
