Desperate to leave but since 31st May still no valid MAC,what can I do? Ofcom seem to think my new ISP (Sky) should be involved but that's just pie in the Sky.

Phone Escalations Department (go through to Customer Services - the 0844 number - during normal office hours, and press the option for "Moving Home"). This will take you through to the UK (Middlesbrough, I think). Then after all the security questions, demand to be put through to Escalations Dept, and don't stand for anything less. Once through, insist that your problem with the MAC code is resolved whilst on the phone. Remind them that it is the law they provide you with a valid code within 5 working days. Quite why OFCOM are being less than helpful, I don't know, but it is no less than what I have come to expect. It doesn't help you though, does it?!
